Cambrian Pool one of world's most amazing

TripAdvisor, the unbiased holiday review site, has included The Cambrian, Adelboden in its list of “Ten Amazing Hotel Pools”. The Cambrian pool, with its panoramic Alpine vistas was placed second, beaten only by the roof-top pool of the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.

One TripAdvisor reviewer, who visited The Cambrian earlier this year, said: “The outdoor heated infinity pool is worth the trip alone”.  It’s not the first time that The Cambrian’s pool has captured the attention of the travel world: in May 2010, The Times travel desk included The Cambrian pool in a list of “The world’s 20 best hotel pools”, writing, “The outdoor pool here has a bubbling massage bed, but best of all is the view of the mountains”.

The Cambrian, Adelboden, a member of Design Hotels, is also the only Mr&Mrs Smith hotel in Switzerland and, once again, it was the outdoor pool that took top billing, with the Mr&Mrs Smith reviewer highlighting the “Spa-sleek Swiss swish” style of the hotel and the fact that, “There’s nothing quite like basking in a bubbling hot pool overlooking an awe-inducing mountain panorama – and The Cambrian lets you do just that”.
